directorYu Xie is the Bert G. Kerstetter ’66 University Professor of Sociology and has a faculty appointment at the Princeton Institute of International and Regional Studies, Princeton University.

The Penn Symposium on Contemporary China (PSCC) aims to provide a unique high-level academic forum for the discussion of the political, legal, economic, and social factors shaping China and its role in the  world today.
