On September 27, Matthew Erie of the University of Oxford gave a talk on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and its effect upon China.  He first summarized the key points about the FCPA and that China has adopted its own FCPA.  His research shows that FCPA became a major practice area for law firms in China after the financial crisis of 2008.
On September 27, 4:30 pm, in 219 Aaron Burr Hall, Matthew Erie from the University of Oxford will give a talk entitled "(Self-)Disciplining the Corporation: FCPA Practice, Compliance, and Global Anti-Corruption Regimes in China."
