Founded in 2015, the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China at Princeton University advances the study of contemporary China and provides substantive analysis from social science perspectives of the dramatic sociological shifts taking place in China today.
THE DIRECTOR
Yu Xie is the Bert G. Kerstetter ’66 University Professor of Sociology and has a faculty appointment at the Princeton Institute of International and Regional Studies, Princeton University.

The Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China is pleased to announce the generous sponsorship of the Drs. Charles C. and Marie S. Yu P83 Global Seminar Fund of the annual study abroad course that allows Princeton students to learn, first-hand, issues surrounding contemporary China.
Doctors Charles C. and Marie S. Yu have founded the Drs. Charles C. and Marie S. Yu Global Seminar Fund to further the missions of PIIRS and the CCC and facilitate cultural exchange and understanding.
