Nipuna Ginige is an undergraduate student in the Department of Computer Science and is currently pursuing minors in Statistics and Machine Learning, Optimization and Quantitative Decision Science, and Japanese. At the CCC, he currently works with Junming Huang as a research assistant on the impact ChatGPT has had on the quality and disruptiveness of published scientific papers. He also manages various administrative tasks at the Center, such as the website, newsletters, and event pages. Nipuna’s interests lie in a range of computational social science topics, such as predictive models in machine learning and computational economics.
