Undergraduate Post-Award Requirements

Upon acceptance of the award, you have agreed to the following:

  1. Use the funds only as specified in the approved SAFE proposal; and
  2. You may be required to submit an interim report.  The interim report must contain the following: 1) proposal title and contact information, 2) progress (or achievement) of the expected outcomes and any other significant accomplishments, 3) any plans or goals to be achieved by the final report.  You will receive written notification if such reports are required; and
  3. Submit on SAFE a final report on actual expenses and final project results. The final report shall include the following: 1) proposal title and contact information, 2) achieved outcomes and any significant accomplishments, and 3) actual expenses supported by receipts; and/or
  4. Repay any portion of the funds not used for the specified purposes by remitting a check or money order made out to the Trustees of Princeton University and delivered to 365 Wallace Hall, attention Yan Bennett.

Further, we request that you publicly acknowledge Center support and provide a disclaimer in any published works, including senior theses.  Below are some examples.

Example 1: This [work / senior thesis / junior paper /conference paper] was supported by the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China.  The content is solely my responsibility and does not necessarily represent the views of the Center.

Example 2: The author(s) gratefully acknowledges funding support from the Paul and Marcia Wythes Center on Contemporary China. The content is solely the responsibility of the author(s) and does not necessarily represent the views of the Center.
