Xiaoguang Fan received his Ph.D. from Fudan University in 2015 and has since then worked at Zhejiang Academy of Social Sciences. He has specialized in Social Stratification and Inequality. Secondary areas are Sociology of elites, international immigrants. His current work focuses on a) Social consequence of entrepreneurs in transition society, b) International immigrants in urban China, and c) The strength and nature of relationships between occupational mobility and subjective social status.
